Day
01: Arrive Delhi
Meet the assist at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi - Srinagar
Meet upon arrival at Airport by our representative and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats.
Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens
etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration.
Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats.
Day 03: - In Srinagar
Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure)
built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh
(Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens
are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background.
The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively.
Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory.
Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats.
Day 04: Srinagar - Dachigam
After breakfast visit the Dachigam.The scenic Dachigam valley is one blissful
place of natural world and its surrounding mountainside contains the rare Kashmir
stag (Hangul), also black and brown bears. If you go trekking over to the upper
reaches, the spectacular vistas make perfect camping hideout. There you may
also see the musk deer, a small species widely hunted for the male's musk gland,
consider valuable in treating importance and a major export to Europe's perfumeries.
Located very close to Srinagar, Dachigam National Park with its splendid forests
and magnificent scenery is easily accessible. Dachigam is the best known among
the whole state of J & K. Once the exclusive hunting preserve of the Maharaja
of Kashmir, it was declared a national park in 1951, and owing to a strictly
enforced conservation programme, the hangul population, once 150, now stands
at over 400 animals.Overnight in House Boat.
DAY
05: Srinagar - Pahalgam
Enjoy your delicious breakfast at your House Boat. Now it's time to say good-bye
to your beautiful House Boat as we will leave for beautiful Pahalgam, Valley
of Shepherds . Pahalgam is only 95 km from Srinagar and it will take maximum
2 1/2 hours. Enroute we will also visit the famous Hindu Temple - Martand also
known as Mattan. At Pahalgam we have very carefully selected very well situated
Hotel Pine. This is tastefully created beautiful hotel and its name is very
appropriately selected as it is surrounded by Pines and Peaks. The location
and the view is awesome. you will live and dine in style at Hotel Pine as well
as enjoy the delicious buffet spread by the hotel.
You will enjoy: Discotheque at the hotel, Kashmiri cultural program, Camp fire,
World famous Vaswaan, the delicious Kashmiri food, Enjoy your delicious dinner
at the hotel. Evening purposefully free for you to admire the beautiful hotel
and scenic beauty of Pahalgam.
DAY 06: Pahalgam
Treat yourself with American breakfast with great variety in style in your hotel's
restaurant. Today we will take you on an excursion to Chandanwari, famous for
its beautiful scenery, flora and fauna, springs and streams. It is also a gateway
to Amarnath Yatra. Return in time at your hotel for your lunch. Enjoy the delicious
buffet lunch in the hotel's restaurant. Rest of the day is free for your personal
activities. In the evening enjoy the Kashmiri Cultural Show and then enjoy the
delicious dinner at hotels restaurant.
DAY 07: Pahalgam
Treat yourself with American breakfast with great variety in style in your hotel's
restaurant. Today we will visit ARU, famous for its scenic beauty. Return in
time at your hotel for your lunch. Enjoy the delicious buffet lunch in the hotel's
restaurant. In the afternoon you have free time in hand for your personal activities
,you may chose to walk down to Bysaran and Shikarga or take a ride on the Pony
and then enjoy the delicious dinner at hotels restaurant.
Day 08: Pahalgam - Gulmarg
Today we drive to Gulmarg (approx. 55 kms / 1 ½ hrs drive) also known
as 'Meadow of Flowers'. Here you can enjoy Gondola Ride. It doesn't end here,
Gulmarg boasts of the world's highest green 18-m gold course. Enjoy the delicious
packed lunch specially prepared for you by. Later return back to the hotel.
Evening enjoy delicious dinner.
Day
09: Gulmarg
Morning after breakfast Full day to enjoy Gulmarg on your own. One can enjoy
horse riding / Cable car ride (to be paid directly by the guest) in Gulmarg.
Evening return back to the boats for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Gulmarg
Day free for leisure..
Day 11: Gulmarg - Srinagar
Drive to Srinagar . In the evening, lake rides by shikara to visit floating
gardens, Lotus Gardens, Charchinar, and Kabooter Khana (Pigeon palace) and inside
of the lake. Overnight stay at houseboat.
Day 12: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar
Full day excursion to Sonmarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar.
On the way we stop at any beautyful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690Mtrs
(Meadow of Gold).One can ride on horse to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow
remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening
return to Houseboat. Overnight at House Boat.
Day 13: Srinagar - Delhi
After breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight for Delhi.Upon arrival
transfer to hotel the international airport to board the flight for your next
destination.
