Places to Visit : Delhi Sariska - Jaipur Ranthambore - Bharatpur Agra - Khajuraho Bandhavgarh - Kanha Nagpur - Bangalore Nagarhole - BR Hills Bandipur - Ooty Munnar - Periyar Kumarakom - Cochin Out. Day 01 : Arrive at Delhi Upon your arrival you will be met and assisted by our company representative at Delhi airport. Later proceed to your hotel. Check in at hotel for overnight stay. Day 02 : Delhi – Sariska This morning a city will introduce you to the capital city of India. Start a tour of Old and New Delhi after breakfast visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and drive past the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire. A sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence, Lotus Temple and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Later in the evening proceed to Sariska. Reach Sariska check in at your hotel for overnight stay. Day 03 : Sariska – Jaipur The Sariska Tiger Reserve is an Indian National Park, located in Alwar district of Rajasthan. The present area of park is 866 km2. Some of the wildlife found in the Sariska Tiger Reserve includes the leopard, jungle cat, hyena, jackal, chital, sambar, carecal, langur, wild boar, four-horned deer (chowsingha ) and several species of birds. Later in the evening proceed to Jaipur. Reach Jaipur check in at your hotel for overnight stay. Day 04 : Jaipur In the morning an excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. Visit the various palaces within the fort premises. The City Palace houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. The largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II is in Jaipur. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. Hawa Mahal is a five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Day 05 : Jaipur – Ranthambore This morning proceed to Ranthambore. Reach Ranthambore check in at your hotel for short relax. Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Ranthambore. Day 06 : Ranthambore Ranthambore is National Park and Tiger reserve in Rajasthan, located in Swai Madhopur district. The park covers the area of 392 km2. The major animals found in park are Tiger, Leopard, Wild boar and a variety of tree, plants and reptiles. Full day will be at game viewing at Ranthambore national park. Overnight will be at hotel in Ranthambore. Day 07 : Ranthambore – Bharatpur This morning leave Ranthambore for Bharatpur. Reach Bharatpur and check in at your hotel. Later proceed to visit Keoladeo Bird sanctuary. The Keoladeo National Park in Rajasthan, India is a famous avifauna sanctuary that sees (or saw) thousands of rare and highly endangered birds such as the Siberian Crane come here during the winter season. Over 230 species of birds are known to have made the National Park their home. Overnight stay will be at Bharatpur. Day 08 : Bharatpur – Agra Today morning will be free and later proceed towards Agra and visit Fatehpur Sikri en route. The deserted, red sandstone city that Emperor Akbar built as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience. It a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins" are in pristine condition... it's not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world. Continue towards Agra, check in at your hotel for relax. Day 09 : Agra Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This building took 22 years to be completed and was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its perfect domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. Enjoy a horse carriage ride from the Taj Mahal to the Agra Fort and visit the many palaces inside the fort. Worth a visit is the Mussamman burh where Shahjahan was imprisoned by his own son Aurangzeb. Overnight stay will be in Agra. Day 10 : Agra – Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh This morning in time transfer to railway station to board your train to Jhansi. Upon your arrival in Jhansi you will be transferred to Bandhavgarh en route visit Khajuraho. Reach Bandhavgarh and check in at your hotel for overnight stay. Day 11 Bandhavgarh Day 12 Bandhavgarh – Kanha Today drive to Kanha. Reach Kanha check in at hotel for relax. Later visit Kanha Nation park. Kanha National Park is situated in Madhya Pradesh. It is declared as a national park in 1955 with the area of 905 km 2. There is a large tiger population in the park (131 tigers as on June 2006). One can also find leopards, the sloth bear and Indian wild dog. The most abundant prey species for the large predators is the spotted deer or chital. Day 13 Kanha Full day will be at game viewing activity in Kanha National Park. Overnight will be at Kanha. Day 14 : Kanha – Nagpur This morning will be free. Later proceed to Nagpur. Reach Nagpur, check in at your hotel. Overnight will be at Nagpur. Day 15 : Nagpur – Bangalore (by flight) This morning in time transfer to airport to board your flight to Bangalore. Reach Bangalore check in at your hotel for relax. Later a city tour will introduces you to the silicon capital of India. Overnight will be at Bangalore. Day 16 : Bangalore – Nagarhole This morning drive to your next destination Nagarhole. Reach and check in at your hotel. Rest of the day will be free. Overnight will be at Nagarhole. Day 17 : Nagarhole Nagarhole National Park is situated in Karnataka, and also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park, spread between Kodagu and Mysore district. The national has rich forest cover, little streams, valley and waterfalls. One can easily find the Mammals like Elephant, Tiger, Jackal, Panther and Spotted deers and reptiles like King Cobra, Python, Viper, Krait and Tortoise. Overnight stay will be at Nagarhole. Day 18 : Nagarhole – BR Hills This day drive towards BR Hills, check in at hotel for relax. It is about 175 km away from Nagarhole National Park. Rest of the day will be free at leisure. Overnight will be at hotel. Day 19 : BR Hills Biligiri Rangan Hills is popularly known as BR Hills. BR Hills is a hill range situated in south eastern Karnataka. Being at the confluence of the Western Ghats and the Eastern Ghats, the sanctuary is home to eco-systems that are unique to both the mountain ranges. This makes it a very critical habitat. Day 20 : BR Hills – Bandipur This day drive to Bandipur National Park. Bandipur National Park is one of India's best known sanctuaries, and is an important Project Tiger reserve. It is located in the Chamarajanagar district of southern Karnataka. Day 21 : Bandipur Bandipur is situated on south of the Kabini river and foothills of the Western Ghats. You can find various type of animals in Bandipur like Tiger, elephants, wild dogs, wild boars, barking deers, sloth beers, four horned antelope and hyena etc. Day 22 : Bandipur – Ooty This morning drive towards your next destination Ooty. Reach and check in at hotel for relax. Later proceed for the sight seeing of Ooty. Evening enjoy the boat ride in Ooty lake. Overnight will be at Ooty. Day 23 : Ooty – Munnar Today drive towards Munnar. Munnar is situated in Kerala. Today in store for you is a scenic drive till Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. In the evening you can go for sight seeing of Munnar which includes the Raja Malai - a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats). Other important places are Muttupetty dam and Indo Swiss project (you can also enjoy boating in the Lake) and witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers. Day 24 : Munnar – Periyar Leave Munnar and proceed towards Thekkady well known for its Periyar sanctuary. Check in at hotel on arrival. In Periyar sanctuary you will witness nomadic species of wild elephant, wild boar, deers, the great Indian tiger and more. In the evening Voyageurs' India has reserved a boat cruise across the Periyar Lake for you to view the wild animals and birds of different species. Overnight stay will be at Periyar. Day 25 : Periyar Morning, after breakfast boating through Periyar Lake - sanctuary. You can have a look to the rare species of flora and fauna. Afternoon visit spice plantations in Thekkady. On your way back to the hotel, you can stop at the local bazaar and pick up some fragrant spices of your choice. Stay the night at Periyar. Day 26 : Periyar – Kumarakom Early morning proceed towards Kumarakom- Venice of India. Kumarakom is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. It is a noted bird sanctuary where many migratory birds visit. The Vembanad Lake is habitat for many marine species and it teems with 'Karimeen' (Pearl Spotted Fish), shrimp ( chemmeen in local language) and prawns. Later proceed to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Overnight will be at Kumarakom. Day 27 : Kumarakom – Cochin This morning drive towards Cochin. Reach and check in at your hotel and relax. Later proceed for the city tour of Cochin. Overnight will be at hotel in Cochin. Day 28 Cochin – Out Today morning in time transfer to airport to board your flight back to home with the sweet memories of India. TOUR INCLUDES: -
